I am strangely obsessive about Hondas, I love them. However, I would throw my Honda under a bus, (which would not be hard to do around here, being I think drinking on the job is encouraged for Detroit bus drivers), for a Leaf. I think it is by Nissan, and it is an all electric car. EEE! True, it can only go 100 miles on a charge, and you are encouraged to get a charging station at your home so you can charge it in a mere 8 hours. But I still think it rocks. I think the estimated charging cost, for 100 miles of driving was something under $3.00. Come on! How awesome is that!

We use fire in almost every walk of life, starting from cooking to bushfire. We all are happy when the fire does work for us which are truly amazing. At the same time we must not forget the same fire is causing all the havoc and damage when left uncontrolled. Fire, as is told in the title, is a very good servant. The movement it gets out of hand, or when it becomes our master, it is very bad. Therefore it is imperative that we all know about fire safety. Fire safety should be taught in elementary level. Learning about fire, methods of fire fighting, water fire extinguishers, how to fight fire etc, helps people in all walks of life capable of fighting against the fire to minimize the damage in case of fire breakout.

I have a tie for my favorite class in college. One was in my undergrad studies, and it was Sociological Theory. An odd choice, even for me, but it was one of those classes that not only teaches you about the subject you are interested in, but about life. Sometimes it is easier not to think about how our reality is all socially constructed, but it is a very liberating bit of information. The other class is one I am currently in, in grad school, called End of Life Issues. I was totally not looking forward to it, but it really has taught me more about living a good life while you have it, then about death.

I think I love cats so much because I currently am not allowed to have a cat. I moved home after my divorce, and my father is allergic to cats. I think he should man up, but my opinion doesn’t count for much around here. I also happen to be allergic to cats, though I had two before I got married. Everyone said to get rid of the guy not the cats. He was allergic too, but nooo, I didn’t listen, I got rid of my cats. Stupid! Now the guy is gone, and I no longer have my sweet cats, Larry and purple.

I know, kind of lame, but it has everything I need! My mail is through them, I can check my local news, I can check movie times, see the forecast, get the latest scoop on all the gossip (I seriously do look at the gossip junk, though rarely admit it) and it has a gazillion other quick links for me to ogle. I also like yahoo messenger, it actually allows me to talk to someone else besides my 4 year old! It is not some crazy exciting website, but it is functional, and it works with my life style. My life style being one of a lazy person, to be specific, so Yahoo!

This is something that has annoyed me since it happened. I got into college, with poor marks in my finishing exams due to laziness I was happy to get into my course regardless. The kicker is I never quite got out of the laziness of that and ended up failing my first year in college. I went back a few years later. But I always wish I could have done that the first time around. So I’d do that again above anything else really. It’s two years of my life I’d get back from it. What else could be better right now?

Hardest thing was the summers working with my dad as a labourer. I’m not the best suited for the job. I’m not very physically active. Not to say I’m over weight, I’m just not particularly in shape. But I worked though it. Up at 6 every morning and sleeping in the van every evening on the way back home. I got much more use to it as time went on, but the problem was when I went back to school. I got back to my own way and when it came around to doing the work again. I had to go though the hard starting part again. Though I did end up enjoying it, I sweated blood for that money. I know where I stand with earning my own way from that.

Fire safety is very important to children and adults everywhere, even though the chances of one getting caught in a house, school, or office fire are quite miniscule. It’s funny; I don’t even think we have a large powder fire extinguisher in either of my offices, maybe that’s not really funny but stranger. I’ve never really had any bad experiences with fire, except the couple times when I’ve singed my hair with a candle or a lighter, but that’s no big deal when compared to people who have been set ablaze. I think it’s odd that fire is supposed to be symbolic of passion; fire sucks all of the oxygen out of things and eventually disintegrates an object until there is nothing left, why would that action is likened to one of the most fundamental forces of life?

I enjoy doing several things. Gaming being the main one. I love reading and learning. Debating a good topic is also high up on what I enjoy doing. Anything that is mentally stimulating is always something I enjoy. Right now I’m in the middle of programming my own small RPG styled game. So that is taking up a lot of time. I love music as well. I can play a few different instruments, but I’m learning the bass guitar at the minuet. It’s hard to learn a different scale of music when I’m use to the normal scale, but I’m enjoying playing my music reguardless.

Every just get a comedian that hits all the things that make you laugh. I was watching a comedian from my home town and was in stitches on the floor. As where the rest of my family. His delivery was good, but the stuff was so close to home I couldn’t help but to laugh myself into tears. Some of the stuff was just common things you take for granted everyday, while some of it was his own experiences growing up where he did. Those where the ones that really got me. The ones that reminded me of home like that.
