Recession Equals Depression

The economy’s recent recession has definitely effected everyone in different ways. For my family it has meant becoming more saving with money. There are a lot of things that we were once able to afford, but now, with the recession, in an attempt to save money, we go without. Quite frankly, when I hear the word “recession” it automatically makes me think of the word “depression.” Because in all honesty, that is exactly what a recession is. It is a sad thing that just shows how bad things are today and a recession will lead into a depression.

  • In our school and college days we were taught about the wet chemical fire extinguishers, its use and value and how it must be installed in every home if possible and business concerns. Those red like tubes handing on the walls, in all sizes from the biggest to the smallest. The home wet chemical fire extinguishers are so neat to be hung up on the wall and every time you pass them it reminds you how important its use is. Whenever there is a small or big fire these red looking objects are so useful to mankind and saves so many lives, without them what will we do, I guess go back to the days when they used to use sand and blankets which did not help much but the wet chemical fire extinguishers the fire service stations use, they are massive and the power holding those big hose and the strength to move it around, those firemen are our saviors. They risk their lives and dedicate themselves to what they do. Always on the alert, waiting for the signal to set them off on their duty. Even in our homes learning how to use a wet chemical fire extinguisher are so handy in cases of a small fire, sudden smoke alert and they look so tiny in your hand but they perform their best when put to the best.

  • A Day I Could Live Without

When I woke up this morning, I thought today was going to be just like any other day. I planned to go to work, spend a boring ten hours on the phone, and then come home to my wonderful husband and my loving animals and enjoy my evening. But, I was sadly mistaken. I did not expect to walk into the office of my job this morning and be fired. I was absolutely blindsided and so therefore, my day hasn’t been all that great. But, on a brighter note, hopefully tomorrow will be better.

  • Be creative!

My room mate and I just had a hardcore struggle over a jar of jam. It was completely impossible to open. She has gone on a quest down the hall to have one of our strong male friends open it. She just returned, it is a great success. I think I’m going to take a shower soon. My plan for tomorrow is to do a photo shoot and get some blood work done. It’s going to be an exhilarating day. I hope that it’s o.k that this section doesn’t really have a single coherent thought. If not then I call this an epic fail.

  • What’s the city like?

The city that I live in is different than expected. I moved from New Hampshire to California, and where I live is much colder than I was expecting California to be. But I like it, a lot. It is much louder here than it is back home. I have a lot of trouble sleeping. When we shut our windows it’s not really that bad. Someone was stabbed to death a block away two weeks ago, that was frightening. I really do like this city though. I like being in a city. I can go get pizza at two A.M. I couldn’t do that back home.

  • What frocks were assembled upon your epidermis today?

Ah, a question I hear very often. Well, today was a bit chilly outside, so I knew I would want to wear pants. I chose a darker-wash pair of jeans that I bought from Forever 21 that are rather stretchy. I wasn’t 100% sure what shirt I was going to wear, so I opened my drawer and my long sleeved blue shirt stood out, so I put that on. I wore a white tank top underneath it because I enjoy layers. I knew my feet would be cold, so I wore thick-ish blue socks. I completed the look with my ugg-style black boots.

  • What would be something awesome to have?

The ability to reach into my pocket and have exactly how much money I needed at the time. Or maybe the ability to have exactly how much money I need at the time in my bank account. People always say they would wish for a million dollars, but that will run out. If I could constantly have the exact amount of money that I needed, I would never run out. And I would never have to work again, although I probably still would. I’ve thought about this since I was a kid. I just added the thing about money being in my bank account, because you never know when you’re going to want to buy something online.

  • What makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

This is going to sound really lame, but my boyfriend means a lot to me. We have been together for almost two and a half years. His name is Chris and he’s 21 years old right now. It sucks because things are really hard between us right now. I moved to California for school and he’s still in New Hampshire. The fact that we’re still together shocks a lot of people. I want to be with him forever. I know how lame and cheesy this whole things sounds, but whatever. Love is all about cheese. And being lame and cute.

When I was younger, my brother, sister, and I went to the park near my dads house. I have no idea how this started, but we picked up the empty bottles and filled them with sand and threw them at other people. We eventually had a whole gang of people, and we often had “sand wars”. We eventually brought a tent to the park and had each member bring food for the whole group on their assigned days. On our day, we had our mom make bagel bites. They were a big hit. Unfortunately, everyone moved away eventually.

  • Fire a Boon and a Menace

Fire has been a boon to mankind since it was invented. But at the same time it is the most common hazard that one faces in Labs, Aero planes, factories, and even in houses. We must be prepared to handle it in emergency. It is purely unpredictable and as such become most destructive also. To tackle with this problem, it is highly essential to have fire-extinguishers in Offices, Laboratories, Factories, Aero planes, and even in houses. Fire extinguisher is an active fire protecting device used to extinguish or control fire in emergency situations. It consists of a handle held cylindrical pressure vessel, contains a chemical agent which can be discharged to extinguish fire. Fire extinguisher has a major role in fire prevention. Vide variety of sizes and shapes are available in the market. Its greatest benefit is convenience and safety they provide. We can fix it against a wall in a house, in a motor vehicle, in aircrafts and in factories etc. When we classify categories of fires we see a class fires–Ordinary paper, plastic, lumpier etc. B class fires–include flammable or combustible liquids’ class fires–energized electrical equipments, panel boxes, switches and hotplates etc. D class fires include Magnesium, potassium or sodium etc. and K class ordinary kitchen fires. For each class of fires different afff fire extinguishers are to be used. Portable Afff fire extinguishers contain chemicals such as Ammonium phosphate are used for A, B, C class fires. It can melt and flow at350 degrees to smoother the fire. Sodium bicarbonate is used in B& C class fires. Air pressurized water also is used in certain afff fire extinguishers. It cools burning materials. Most common types contain pressurized dry chemicals and carbon-dioxide…We should use appropriate extinguisher in appropriate situation unless otherwise it may increase the fire. So whenever we buy one fire extinguisher, see that it is useful for us in our needs. However it is a must nowadays.
