What’s On The Tube

When it comes to television, nothing is worse than the same story line being used over and over again. Watching TV should be a fun and relaxing time and for that reason, I enjoy the originality and comedy of reality television. Depending on the show you are watching, you can have drama and comedy all rolled into one package, which makes for entertaining watching. Plus, reality television stars have become almost as famous as sitcom stars, so it is enjoyable to follow them in the press and online. Some of the greatest TV moments of the last few years have come from these shows, which is part of their massive popularity.

  • Bedding and Decorations for Small Rooms

As bedroom sizes shrink and the amount of stuff that needs to go in them expands, many homeowners are turning to old solutions to save space, yet keeping important items like firex smoke alarms. Daybeds are a great example of this. Serving both the functions of a couch and bed, this type of furniture can turn a guest’s room into a parlor with a stylish cover and a few quick throw pillows. Many daybeds can fit another mattress on a trundle underneath, which can be pulled out if an additional mattress is needed. Another option includes Murphy beds, which mount and fold into walls and are pulled out when needed.

If I had $500 to spend at the mall, I would update my wardrobe for summer! Between sandals, sundresses, and Capri pants, I could outfit myself in style. With the remaining money, I would purchase some new accessories, like jewel toned jewelry and straw handbags. If there was anything left, I would think about buying my husband a few new pieces for his closet, like seersucker shorts or cotton dress shirts. If he was lucky, I might get him some new shoes, too! Summer is a great time to enhance your wardrobe, and what better way to do it than with $500 to spend at the mall!

  • Contribution to the World is Fulfillment

I consider my life quite fulfilled, as I am in a loving, monogamous relationship, and am working to study something I love. I have many goals I need to fulfill, still, but I am confident I can achieve them, given time. I have much change I wish to effect in the world, for the world has many problems, and I want to solve at least some of them. I would feel as if I would have an unfulfilled life if I were not able to accomplish this. I don’t want to sit around wasting my life and doing nothing with myself.

  • My Girlfriend, My Soul Mate

My girlfriend has been very influential in my life. She has kept me out of very bad spots and boosted my self esteem, and she just makes life wonderful for me. I don’t know what I would do without her. She treats me a lot better than any of my other suitors in the past, and we are so similar that it is a very good relationship. She also complements me in many ways, and I am really happy to know someone so wonderful. She is very kind to me, and does her best to make sure I am happy.

  • The UK seems Nicer

I would love to go to the UK. Doctor Who is filmed there, and it is one of my favorite shows, and they also do not have laws discriminatory against gays. The culture there is much more comfortable with gender identity and sexuality, and I really am quite tired of the general close minded American attitude about that. Americans are way too hyper and easily offended, and they seem to be very insecure in their masculinities and femininities. And the people in the UK are less tolerant of violence in their television as well; I don’t like gory American shows.

  • Cherish your Love while it Lasts

    Spending Time

    Image via Wikipedia

I would spend the hour spending time with my loved ones, hopefully most of the people who I care about.  That is all that really matters to me, to spend time with them. I would also spend time with my pets, specifically my cats. I would try not to remember the world was ending, since that would cause me a considerable deal of distress, and I probably would not be able to concentrate on enjoying the time I had left. I have an extreme fear of the apocalypse and dying, so I would not want to think about that if I didn’t have to.

  • The Wind Cools My Soul

I feel like I need to get in touch with nature on a regular basis, and to assuage this, I go outside. Usually, I take a walk in some natural area, trying to collect my thoughts. I am thankful every day for nature still being here, not completely destroyed by industry and pollution. I am always afraid it will go away some day, so I cherish every moment I have with it. The wind is especially calming, and I like walking through a warm breeze, or a light drizzle. It’s very refreshing, and helps clear my mind, sorting out my thoughts.

  • Industry Dominates, the Earth Suffers

I would love to be the president of the country, or at least in a position where I could assume a lot of influence. I would try to change our policies on the environment and industry, and make the country adopt greener policies so we stop polluting the earth. Industry has run rampant in this country, and there is no consideration for the environment, or fair treatment of workers, or anything that matters anymore. If the earth is polluted and we cannot breathe, there will be no need for an economy because we will all be gone from this earth.

  • Megaphones – comes for our help

Everybody vacate this building NOW!! Hearing this, I am sure many of us would have pictured a fire fighter shouting his lungs out through his red colored Megaphone. Megaphones are the speaking trumpets which amplify the firefighter’s words and make them reach places where they wouldn’t have otherwise. It not only amplifies the words but also directs them in a particular direction as chosen by the firefighter. A car megaphone saves so many lives by alerting and warning people of the impending accidents.
