Reliving the last five years of my life, I would spend more time respecting my parents and being kind to the ones I love most: my family. Life has been hard for us. Between my dad’s mental illness and suffering after being fired from work, he has had a long few years. My mom tries her best to be supportive, and has gone as far as creating and spearheading a support group for families. I, however, have not been the best daughter. I push against the needs of my family, refusing to help my parents with technology at times and not being understanding of my family’s difficulties. Given the chance to do it over, I would take a moment to collect myself and respect my parents more.

Lady Gaga’s song The Edge of Glory is a commentary on one’s final moments on earth, living on the edge of everything. The only certainty in life is an imminent death. If I was certain to have only 2 weeks left to my life, I would have some regrets. The biggest one would be not seeing my life goals to completion. I have a strong desire to help others, and know that following my education to completion and becoming a doctor is the way I am destined to aid others. The only thing holding me back from this is time. I am en route to completing my goals, and only death would stop me from finishing them. Given only two weeks left to life, I would live on the edge of glory; I wouldn’t sleep until I had helped as many people as humanly possible.

Home design is never finished. There is always something to improve or reorganize. Personally, I feel as though my home could use some redecorating. I have my eye on a very modern styled décor. However, I do not think the other occupants in my home would be as open to the new scenery. I enjoy the enamel and sleek chrome accents of the modern style. Cool metal and muted metallic tones would complete this look, creating a futuristic pallet for my home. Of course, this look could not be complete without all new appliances and fixtures. A state of the art kitchen is at the top of my list of needed updates, complete with washing machine and double refrigerator. The center of the room will be an ultra-modern sink and set of fixtures. My home will be like walking into the future.

When boredom begins to set in, I have my secrets to keep it at bay. One of my favorite pass-times is watching movies. So, when I have a spare moment, I like to engage myself in a fantasy world. Delving into a foreign world is a nice way to escape from the world and forget my troubles. I like to watch the same movies, old favorites, over and over, mouthing the lines as I go along. With each viewing, I notice new details and character nuances. I also enjoy dissecting and trying to copy the costumes and outfits from some of the more modern films.

Fire extinguisher is a fire protection device. It can control fire during the emergency situation. There are two main types of fire extinguishers. They are stored pressure and cartilage-operated. In stored pressure fire extinguisher expellant is stored in the same chamber but in the cartilage operated fire extinguisher expellant is stored in separate chamber. Handheld fire extinguishers are portable. Cart- mounted or wheeled modeled extinguishers are commonly used in airport runways, construction sites, docks and marinas.

Unexpected break of fire creates panic among the common public. Every administration has its own arrangements to fight against such threats. Fire safety is an important duty of the government. Fire fighters play a significant role in maintaining safety of common people from fire. We are obliged to the selfless fire fighters very much. Fire hose spares are used to extinguish fire. There are both indoor and outdoor hoses. Indoor hoses are attached permanently to the plumbing system of the building. In outdoors, it forms part of a fire engine. Fire service uses hoses under various names such as booster hose, supply hose, forestry hose, attack hose and relay hose.

Every once in a while there is a day where you don’t want to do anything. On those gloomy, depressing days you wonder why you should go on. My personal goals inspire me to keep going, day in and day out. I have a goal I promise to see through to completion: Earning and obtaining my Doctorate of Pharmacy. I have a vision of myself in a white coat, helping those in need with my medical knowledge and technical knowhow. For those without insurance, I want to be able to work the system and get them their medicine at the lowest possible price. Knowing I will one day help others helps me keep going.

My favorite invention of history is the printing press. Invented by Johannes Gutenberg around 1440, the development of the printing press and moveable type allowed for an unlimited distribution of knowledge. Never before could information be shared with such ease. Rather than scribes sitting around for days transcribing manuscripts, new copies of a book could literally be cranked out to share with the world. I have a strong respect for knowledge, and the invention of the printing press allowed for such an immense change in how the world learns.  History’s invention of the printing press helped the world develop and grow.

If I could travel in time machine, I definitely will travel to my college days where I lived life to the fullest. I had no worries, no responsibilities and lots of friends were there always to share things with. Studies were easy when we shared our thoughts and days were happy as we all were very innocent. Basketball games during evenings and chat in the college park were heaven so I surely want to live my college life again. The thing I wanted to change in those days is about the quarrels with some friends for which I feel bad even now. If I love everyone, the days will be more fun and happy so I would like to move friendly with everyone at my college and make things set right.

If I could confront anyone from my past, surely it will be Mother Teresa who helped numerous poor, helpless people. She worked for the orphan children, old people and the patients including the ones who had leprosy. Her whole life was dedicated to serve the people and we cannot even imagine her patience she had. She didn’t have any self-wish but worked and prayed for the helpless people on every single minute she lived. Normal humans live and die every day but the angel like Mother Teresa should live eternal for the wellness of the world. If she comes again, lot of people will get their life back.
